The primary aim of the Psychosocial and Health Behavior Assessment Core is to facilitate
the use of state-of-the art strategies for measuring psychosocial processes and behavior in
mind-body research by providing:
Online reviews of the methods available to assess key
psychosocial and behavioral constructs.
Links to other useful sites that provide resources or
address issues related to psychosocial and behavioral
assessment in mind-body research.
. For researchers affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh or Carnegie Mellon University:
Workshops in novel or complex assessment methods.
Consultation for planning research studies or facilitating
training in the use of psychosocial and behavioral measurements.

In collaboration with the Obesity and Nutrition Research Center, Core C may be able
to provide some funding and infrastructure to assist with data collection or scoring for
projects that involve dietary or activity assessments. To find out more about these
