Presentations will include an overview of energy balance and discussion of methods and
technologies for the assessment of nutrition/energy intake and physical activity/energy expenditure.

Presentations and discussion will focus on the relative utility of assessment options as a function
of the research question, subject and investigator burden, and application to clinical trials and
observational studies involving free-living participants.
